But ideally I'd like something with even more details. e.g. What I am particularly curious about (at the moment) is the Franco-Burgundian war of c.500 A.D. I'd like to know exactly what the different sources say and whether they are consistent, what the attitudes of Theodoric, and the Empire, were (if we can know or guess these). I know you give your sources so I could read all of these, but I was hoping to make use of your scholarship.

I have some comments about your account of the later Franco-Burgundian wars, but I'll leave them at the appropriate place.Howard Wisemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17376582034313295394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2229429962085472284.post-16551609357464762252010-12-09T09:29:10.881-05:002010-12-09T09:29:10.881-05:00Hi Howard, Not to my knowledge. Thanks for the kind words.Marchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09263223781051175207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2229429962085472284.post-63914792126914442062010-12-06T05:32:27.970-05:002010-12-06T05:32:27.970-05:00Hi Marc

Since the Burgundians were so limited in time and place, one imagines there might be a book out there that has ALL the info about them - all the sources and all the interpretations. Is there, to your knowledge?
HowardHoward Wisemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17376582034313295394noreply@blogger.com
